Thank you for registering on the Hawk Eye Crime Reporter. Hawk eye is designed for personal and community safety. This licensing agreement defines services provided by the Hawk Eye app and its usage; it helps you understand what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have regarding that information.

Services Provided by Hawk Eye Crime Reporter
 Hawk Eye Crime Reporter is designed to help report crimes or call for emergency response either to local authorities or private security agencies as may be applicable to the user.

Reporting a Crime
The application allows the user to choose any type of crime designated by the icon on the app to report the incident or crime. The App provides 3 different ways that the user may report crimes that you have witnessed or may be witnessing.

  • File Report

File report option allows you to write a report on a crime or incidents you have witnessed or if using the application for utility services, file complaints directly with your Utility Company. You can also attach documents, images relevant to the report.

  • Request Response

Request Response allows you to capture up to 30 seconds of an incident or crime you are witnessing. The system requires you to activate the location services on your phone to Request Response. The location of the image or video you have captured is transmitted to a local call center who will review and dispatch authorities or to private security services for response. You will be able to Request Response to crimes on your iOS from local authorities, only if your local police have registered the Hawk Eye App for use by citizens.

  • Call For Help

Using Call for Help will auto dial the appropriate authorities or private security, so you may report the crime or incident.

FindMe
FindMe feature is used to notify friends and family members if you feel in danger. Once activates it sends your location information to emergency contact you have created in under your friends list.

Reports
All reports are filed ANONYMOUSLY whether to local police or private security firms. Messages sent do not include any information about the sender.

Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information
Hawk Eye does not collect any information related to you.

The Information We Collect:

Country, State & City: We collect this data to help us understand where we have the most users for the service

Your Phone Number is required and used if activate the “FindMe” feature on the app.

We also collect IMEI number of the phone (android phones only) used to communicate with our platform, this information is retained in our data base for an indefinite period and is not available to anyone including our staff for viewing except where a court order is issued concerning abuse of the system such as sending false alerts and reports to police, emergency response service providers, other security services providers or in the event of locating a person of interest for security purposes.

If you local police has adopted this App and is used for crime reporting, sending false message is a criminal act of interfering with security and emergency services and will be subject to local laws and prosecution.

Optional Information
The Hawk Eye Crime Reporter Services are provided at no cost to users, private security or local authorities, therefore we rely on advertising revenue to support the services we provide.

To better serve you and our advertising partners we collect option personal information from our users such as age range, marital status, family status or industry of employment. This information is not a requirement you may choose not to provide them to us.

Marketing Information
We collect other demographic and marketing information for the purpose of delivering only relevant sponsor information with the report you collect, send, and share or receive from friends. This information is not sold marketed or used for any other purpose but for our internal business only or with our sister companies.

Sometimes we use the information we collect from you such as types of crimes you are reporting, location such as city, local government area, state and country to build key statistics for crime and incident analysis used by government or private security firms to enhance security for your community.

Collection and Protection of Certain Personally-Identifying Information
Hawk Eye does not disclose collect nor disclose personally-identifying information to anyone, individual business or government including its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations in order to provide services provided by the application s program, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. By using Hawk Eye’s program or application, you consent to the transfer of such information to our other businesses and affiliates for internal business use only.  Hawk Eye does not collect and cannot disclose personally-identifying information to anyone in response to a subpoena, court order or other governmental request.

If you are a registered user of the Hawk Eye program, Hawk Eye may occasionally send you notifications about new features, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what’s going on with Hawk Eye. Hawk Eye takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration or destruction of reports you have submitted.

 Aggregated Statistics
Sometimes our advertising partners may share with Hawk Eye information that you have provided to them when using their services. For example, some advertisers or websites may provide preferences and interests you have disclosed to them, if so, we may collect the information (described above) from those sites or advertisers. Online advertisers typically share information with the websites or apps where they place ads to measure and/or improve the accuracy of those ads. We also receive this information, which may include information such, whether clicks on ads led to purchases or a list of criteria to use in targeting ads. Hawk Eye may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its website. However, Hawk Eye does not disclose personally-identifying information to its advertisers.

Business Transfers
If Hawk Eye, or substantially all of its assets, were acquired, user information would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer of Hawk Eye may continue to use information you have provided to us for the purpose of providing services to you as set forth in this EULA. In the unlikely event that Hawk Eye goes out of business we will promptly delete from our system any and all reports from you.

 Advertisements
Whenever you use a website, mobile application, or other internet service, certain information is sometimes recorded automatically; this information is typically referred to as “cookies.” Hawk Eye does, captures IMEI number of the phones used to receive or send messages. However, ads appearing on any of our alerts or the Hawk Eye app may be delivered to users by advertising partners, who may set cookies. These cookies allow the ad server to recognize your device each time they send you an online advertisement to compile information about you or others who use your computer. This information allows ad networks to, among other things, deliver targeted advertisements that they believe will be of most interest to you. This Privacy Policy covers the use of cookies by Hawk Eye and does not cover the use of cookies by any advertisers.

Information Usage
The Hawk Eye safety notification system is directed to friends and family members you have configured as emergency contact under our FindMe feature. Hawk Eye uses the location information we collect to provide notification to the friends and families you wish to be aware of your safety, if you feel we have provided this notification to an unauthorized person please contact us immediately at 234 1 463 8331

Choices You Have
Hawk Eye’s goal is to give you simple and meaningful choices over your information:

  • You may delete your account at any time
  • Delete messages you do not want to view
  • Share messages with your friends

Privacy Policy Changes
Although most changes are likely to be minor, Hawk Eye may change its End User Licensing Agreement (EULA) from time to time, and at Hawk Eye’s sole discretion. Hawk Eye will notify all users each time it makes changes to its End User Licensing Agreement. Your continued use of the Hawk Eye program or app after any notification of change to this licensing agreement will constitute your acceptance of such change.

DISCLAIMER
Hawk Eye and the owner of the Hawk Eye Crime Reporting App do not provide security services and serves only as a conduit to report crime and other incident. We shall not be liable for lack of response to request for service, failure of phone service, or reports filed. You agree that the use of the Hawk Eye App is voluntary and you shall hold harmless Hawk Eye or owners of the Hawk Eye App for any reasons real or imagined, failure to deliver your report failure to deliver reports in timely manner, failure of service for any reasons including failure of the App, application defect, lack of network services, failure to capture the location of your report other acts of God that is outside of our control.

ACCEPTANCE
By continuing to use the Hawk Eye App, you accept all the terms and conditions of the End User Licensing Agreement as described above. You hereby agree that to waive all rights to bring any action before any court of law in any jurisdiction and in any country.
